Ballard-Based Therapist

Meet Beth, LMHC

My Approach

I believe that therapy is best experienced in a comfortable environment. We kick our shoes off, laugh when we need to, and give each other grace to get it wrong. We aren’t “just talking” about what is painful, distressing, or hurting. We roll up our sleeves and get to work deeply understanding where you get stuck. We go slow and take a depth-oriented, mindfulness-based approach as you feel and organize your experience in real time. This isn’t light work. so I work to create a space where you will feel safe telling me when I’m a little off — or completely in left field. I’m a direct communicator and value transparency and collaboration in our work together.
